Having some of the best licensed massage therapists in NYC, they are truly experts at what they do: reducing stress, eliminating headaches, relieving shoulder tension, addressing neck issues, and healing back pain. They strive to "leave a lasting impression on every customer and community they touch," and it shows.
Their clinical massage studios (located in Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and now Union Square) are ethical, caring and havens of good vibes, friendly staff, and effective treatment—plus they're filled with gorgeous plants to give it an "airy feel" (which we love). We know the quality of the treatment is what matters most, but feeling safe, calm, and captivated by a businesses' atmosphere is also high on our list (especially here in New York)—and they surely nail that in each studio. Rachel Beider is the founder and owner of PRESS Modern Massage. Rachel grew up with scoliosis and understands the struggle of living in pain and how hard it can be to find the right treatment.
That, coupled with her extensive background in physical therapy is what inspired her to open her own space for helping and healing through science-backed, clinical orthopedic massage.
